1. What data we collect

When you create an account on Locarium.ro, we collect the data you provide us: username, email address and password (stored in encrypted form). While using the site, we may also collect data about the content you publish (places, descriptions, photos).

2. How we use the data

The collected data is used exclusively for:

• •sending emails you consented to (e.g. new published places).

3. Uploaded photos

The photos you upload may be displayed publicly on the site and used to promote the platform, according to the license described in the Terms and Conditions. You remain the copyright holder and can request the deletion of a photo at any time.

4. Disclosure to third parties

We do not sell or rent your personal data. It may only be disclosed when required by law or to protect the rights of the platform.

5. Storage and security

Data is stored on secure servers and your password is encrypted. We take reasonable measures to protect data against unauthorized access.

When you delete your account, personal data (name, email, username, profile picture) is deleted or anonymized, and the profile becomes inaccessible to the public. Published content (places, reviews, photos) may remain on the platform in anonymized form, with the author shown as "Deleted user".

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, as well as to withdraw your consent to emails. You can do this from your account or by contacting us. Published content may be kept in anonymized form, according to the Terms and Conditions.
